What Is MyChart?
MyChart is a personalized and secure online portal that assists people to take a vigorous role to manage their care at the MD Anderson. There are a number of activities that people can perform by accessing this online portal. This portal can either be accessed from a personal computer or from a mobile device through their official mobile app. After accessing this portal, you can access your important health information, find directions, send messages, request or reschedule appointments, and view your test results.
You can communicate with your doctor through this portal and can also request prescription refills. This is a secure account that can be accessed anytime and from wherever you are. To access this portal, you need to use your username or MRN (medical record number) and password. New Patients: Setting Up Your MD Anderson Cancer Center MyChart Account
If you are a new patient, then you should’ve received your activation code. If you haven’t yet received the validation code, then you can talk to their staff member by dialing their helpline. You can also find this code on your “After Visit Summary” document. Once you have the code, you should go to their official MyChart webpage and click “Create a new account”. We will give you the webpage link later in this article. After that, you should enter your activation code, MRN (patient’s medical record number) and your date of birth and click “Submit” button.
Now, simply create your username and password. The username must be a combination of alphanumeric and the password needs to be 7-12 characters, both alpha and numeric. Also, enter your email address. If you don’t remember your username, then the MRN can be used to log in. This portal can be accessed on any internet browser, but make sure that you are using an updated browser.
Instructions To Sign In MyChart Account
After setting up your MyChart account, you can access it from your computer or a smart device, like a smartphone or a tablet. To access this portal using your smart device, you should download their official app on your device, and then launch it and enter your username or MRN and password to log in. Forgot Your Password?
In case, if you ever forget your password and can’t access your account, then you can recover it on the same login page. Just look at the “Forgot your password?” link just under the “Login” button and click it. On the new page, enter your MRN and the email that you used to create your profile. After that, click “Email Link” button. A link will be sent to your email address, so you should open your email and click the link provided in the email to recover your password.
